Martin Dajka was born in Debrecen, Hungary in 1996. He began his musical education at the age of seven with Zsolt Török in Tiszafüred.

From 2010 until 2014, he attended the Leó Weiner High School for Music in Budapest where he received lessons from András Kis. After finishing the High School, Martin began studying with Prof. Reinhold Friedrich at the University of Music Karlsruhe in Germany, where he has already completed his bachelor studies and is currently pursuing his master degree.


Martin is an award winner of numerous national and international competitions. As a soloist he has performed with the Budapest Strings, the Prag Philharmonic, the Austro-Ungarian Haydn-Philharmonie and the Südwestdeutsches Kammerorchester Pforzheim.
Martin hast attended masterclasses by Laura Vukobratovic, Luis González, Jeroen Berwaerts, Hannes Läubin, Gábor Tarkövi, Wim van Hasselt, Manuel Blanco, Gábor Boldóczki, Mark David, André Kavalinski, Kristian Steenstrup and Klaus Schuhwerk.


In addition to Martin's academist position in the SWR Symphony Orchestra in 2020-21, he regularly performs with the Badische Staatskapelle Karlsruhe, Philharmonie Baden-Baden,  Nationaltheater Mannheim, Württembergisches Kammerorchester Heilbronn, Kammerphilharmonie Mannheim, Südwestdeutsches Kammerorchester Pforzheim, and the Bach Akademie Stuttgart.
