Trumpet

The hungarian trumpet player was born in Pécs in 1994. He started to play the trumpet when he was 8 years old with teachers István Pápai, Károly Csirke and later with András Kiszler. Between 2009 and 2013 he was a student of the Leó Weiner Music Highschool and his teachers were here Dr. András Kis and István Sztán. His first solo performance was in 2010 where he played the Haydn Trumpet Concerto in Budapest. After this success he was invited to play that again with the Prague Radio Philharmonic Orchestra. One year later he performed the second Brandenburg Concerto from Bach with the National Philharmonic Orchestra Hungary.

In 2013 he got a place in the world famous trumpet class of Reinhold Friedrich in the Music University Karlsruhe. He won several national and international trumpet competitions in Germany, Hungary, Italy and Czech Republic. He worked on some CD recordings with the Brass Ensemble Brasssurround where he recorded pieces from Bach and the Pictures of an Exhibition from Mussorgsky.

He was a solist of the National Philharmonic Orchestra Hungary, Budapest Strings, Radio Philharmonic Orchestra Prague, Bach Academy Orchestra Stuttgart, Chamber Orchestra Pforzheim and Chamber Orchestra Karlsruhe.
He started his professional orchestral Career at the age of 19 when he was an Assistent of the Hof Symphony Orchestra and in 2013 He had a time contract in the Hamburg State Operahouse as solotrumpet player under conductor Kent Nagano.

In the 2015-2016 Season he was also solotrumpet player of the State Operahouse Mannheim and in the next season trumpet praktikant of the Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra where he had the chance to play with very well-known conductors like Peter Eötvös, Christoph Eschenbach, Dan Ettinger, Hans-Christoph Rademann, Cornelius Meister, David Zinman, Ingo Metzmacher and Kristian Järvi.

Besides his orchestral and solo activity he is a member of some chamber ensembles too. In the Brasssurround, Brass Band Frankfurt, Ensemble Aisthesis and the Young Bach Chamber Orchestra Stuttgart. With them he played again the Second Brandenburg Concerto of Bach in Ochsenhausen, in Stuttgart and in Venice. He was a prize winner with his brass quintett in 2012 of the Passau Brass Chamber Music Competition. In the last few years he attended on mastercourses of Manuel Blanco, Gábor Tarkövi, Hannes Läubin and Klaus Schuhwerk.

Since 2018, he is the new solotrumpet player of the Munich Symphony Orchestra and he plays succesfully concerts with them in the leader concert halls of the world in cities like Munich, Stuttgart, Salzburg, Amsterdam, Basel, Zürich, Milan, Vienna, Beijing and Tokyo.
